Airsoft Cymru The Station – Site Rules

These rules exist to ensure your safety, enjoyment, and fair play.

Failure to follow them may result in removal from the site and a potential ban across all Airsoft Cymru locations.

SAFE ZONE

The Safe Zone is a designated area where players can safely rest and remove eye protection.
To maintain this safety:

  • All magazines must be removed, and chambers cleared before entering.

  • No dry firing is allowed inside the Safe Zone under any circumstances.

SITE SAFETY

  • Eye protection is mandatory at all times in the game area and must only be removed when inside the Safe Zone or if instructed by a marshal.

  • Under-18s must wear full face protection. Over-18s are also strongly advised to do the same. While ballistic or shooting glasses are permitted, their use is at your own risk.

  • A valid disclaimer form must be completed before participating. These are valid for 12 months and available on-site or via email/Facebook upon request.

  • Under-18s must have their disclaimer countersigned by a parent or guardian over the age of 18.

  • Minimum age to participate is 11, and ID may be requested for proof of age.

  • Speed limit on site is 5mph. Please drive slowly and responsibly when arriving or departing. All vehicles and personal belongings are left at your own risk – Airsoft Cymru accepts no liability.

  • All RIFs (Realistic Imitation Firearms) must be fully covered in a gun bag or case when transported to and from the site.

  • Sturdy footwear with ankle support is strongly recommended due to uneven or slippery terrain. Running is permitted at your own risk.

  • Do not climb or move any barricades – these are set for your tactical benefit and safety.

  • Drugs and alcohol are strictly prohibited on-site. Players under the influence will be refused entry.

  • No sharp blades or knives are permitted in the gaming areas.

FPS LIMITS, WEAPONS & PYRO RULES

  • All weapons (AEG, HPA, shotgun, pistol) must be chronographed before the game briefing.

    • HPA users must have their systems tournament locked at chrono.

  • Max BB weight is 0.25g.

    • Airsoft Cymru The Station is a Single-Shot Only Site – any breach of this rule will be dealt with firmly.

  • FPS limits using 0.20g BBs:

    • AEG / HPA / Pistol / Shotgun: 350fps MAX

  • Any RIF exceeding this limit cannot be used on site. It is each player’s responsibility to ensure their RIFs are within legal and site limits – no exceptions.

  • All HPA regulators must be tournament locked – without exception.

  • Laser sights are permitted but must only be aimed from the shoulder down. Lasers must never be pointed at a player’s eyes.

  • Drum mags are not permitted on M4s, SMGs, AKs or Shotguns.

    • However, extended or drum magazines for pistols are allowed only if the pistol is your primary weapon.

  • Only site-approved pyros (those bought from or authorised by Airsoft Cymru The Station) may be used.

  • BFGs (Blank Firing Grenades) may use 209 primers or 9mm max and must follow these safety rules:

    • Only underarm throws or posting allowed. No overarm throwing.

    • Do not throw into dark rooms or stairwells.

    • You must have a clear line of sight before deployment – blind firing rules apply.

    • Only MK5s may be used on staircases.

  • Blind firing is not permitted. You must have clear visual contact with your target before firing.

PLAYER CONDUCT

Airsoft is built on honesty, honour, and fair play. These values are expected from every player.

  • A hit counts anywhere on your body, gear, or secondary weapon.

  • When hit, shout “HIT!” clearly and raise your arm to signal you’re out.

  • Be aware that BBs already in the air may still hit you after you've called hit – do not assume this is overkill.

  • Aggressive or disruptive behaviour, whether physical or verbal, towards staff or players will not be tolerated.

MARSHALS

Our experienced marshal team is here to ensure fair play and your safety throughout the day.

  • Do not shoot marshals.

  • All marshal decisions are final.

  • Rules are enforced for the benefit of all players.

RE-GEN & GAME RULES

Game-specific rules and regeneration procedures will be explained clearly during the safety briefing at the start of the day.

RULE ENFORCEMENT

Any breach of the above rules may lead to ejection from the site and a site-wide ban across all Airsoft Cymru locations.
